Not Again (I Can't Sleep!)

Maybe because I'm not yet done with what I have scheduled for today. I still can't think of a better algo for Eskwela, the Birthday Updates.

Here's what's in my mind right now:
1) Let x be the list of users with birthday t.
2) Search all friends of (each element in) x. (Got the list of people, y, who will receive the birthday updates.)
3) For each y as m, get m's friends from x. (Now, I've got the list of m's friends with birthday t.)

Naintindihan nyo? Hahaha.. ang sakit sa ulo mag-explain. Hindi ko rin naintindihan. Basta parang ganun yung concept.

Just saw AJ's blog. Like him, it was almost 3AM and I still couldn't sleep. And so I also tried this link.

Good Laptop

"Inaasar nila ko, ako lang daw hindi naka-Mac."

They all have Mac lappies. And, I have Neo. But I can't feel envious, is this normal?

I can't find any reason why I need a branded or an expensive laptop. What's important for me now is it is portable, it is fast, it supports photoshop, I can code and I can browse.

Don't worry, I will have my own Mac or even better sooner or later when I feel I need it.

Thanks to Neo, anyway. I have Eskwela. ;)

Pamamanhikan, Uso pa ba?

What does pamamanhikan actually mean? It’s a Filipino tradition where the guy "officially" asks for the girl’s hand from her parents. It is also an occasion when the girl and the guy’s parents meet.

To answer the title, hindi ko rin alam. Nakakalimutan na rin kasi to. Naaalala na lang ulit kapag may ikakasal sa family or relatives.

Pero I think hindi issue kung uso pa o hindi. I belive what's important is, this should be praticed, bilang respect to the girl and the girl's parents.

Old school? Hindi naman. Isa lang siguro ako sa naniniwala na mas maganda ang pagsasama ng mag-asawa if they do this kind of practice. (This is my opinion, maybe my support statement is not really important.)

Biased? No. I don't think so. Kung naging guy ako, for sure mamamanhikan din ako. Wala rin namang masama if I do this anyway. Exciting kaya yun. Hehehehe.. And I should be proud pa nga kasi ipapakilala ko ang babaeng nagpatibok ng puso ko at mamahalin ko habang buhay. Hahaha! Jologz. No, seriously I will love to introduce my wife-to-be who from the very first supports me, cares for me, comforts me and promise to love me as long as I live. And it's also a chance to say or to prove to my parents that they need not to worry 'coz I will be in a good hand.

Summer Gimiks and Parties

It started last April 7 when our family had a Reunion-Summer-Birthday Party in Ciudad Christia.

The next day, April 8, me and my friends from college (we named the group Penarmac Family) went to Club Manila East (CME).

April 26 naman swimming with friends from our community.

Di masyadong maganda ang quality ng pics. Wala kasi akong camera kaya phone na lang.
Wednesday, May 2, Eskwela/Xackup people watched this nice movie, Spiderman 3.

A day before I go to our reunion last Friday, May 4, nagpunta kami ni Booh booh sa Marquinton. It's a nice place to relax.

Then finally, yesterday, May 5, a Videoke-Reunion party with High School classmates.

Mahaba-haba pa ang summer, one month pa para sa gimiks and parties. I'm still looking forward to another great gimik!

Enjoy what you're doing

Anything you do, love and enjoy it. In any case, it may turn out successful or not, at least wala kang talo and no regrets. But I assure you, when you enjoy it most probably magiging successful yun.

Planning a reunion is not realy that easy. Thanks to the whole gang. It went out successful.

Cool and Impressive!

The whole gang of Eskwela/Xackup team got to watch Spiderman 3 and I have 3 words to say -- I love it!

That's my humble opinion.

The good thing about the movie:
- it showed the dark side of the hero
- not just action, there are funny scenes too!
- OK ang drama scenes
- sulit sya kasi mahaba ang story
- there's moral lesson

What to improve:
- animation. yes, compared sa ibang animation, it's the best. but i know they can still do better than that!
- ending. i'm not really impressed with it -- typical and predictable ending.

Big question:
May part 4 kaya?!
